The beautiful surroundings are excellent to explore by car or bicycle. Interesting trips for the whole family include the authentic steam train Goes-Borsele with various stops in the area, the Liberation Museum Zeeland, the Tractor Museum in ‘s-Gravenpolder, the bustling shopping city of Goes, Berkenhof's Tropical Zoo & Butterfly Garden and, of course, the monumental city of Middelburg. During a true Scheldes safari, you observe seals in their natural environment. The boat leaves from the port of Hoedekenskerke, a few kilometres away. After a short drive by car, you can also reach Deltapark Neeltje Jans, the picturesque towns of Veere and Zierikzee and the inviting sandy beaches on the North Sea, for example in Dishoek and Zoutelande. -
